We hired Maalouf Ashford & Talbot to represent our company in connection with a very large investment in Saudi Arabia. It was extremely complicated for a number of reasons, and the Saudi laws and regulations are not very clear, but once John Maalouf got involved everything went smoothly. He advised us on what could, and couldn't, be done from a legal, as well as a practical standpoint, he and his partners in Riyadh had excellent relationships with the different governmental agencies, and got everything done quickly and efficiently. John Maalouf was personally involved in the deal and was very responsive, always returning telephone calls or e-mails within the hour, their fees were also a lot more reasonable that the other magic circle/ white shoe law firms that we had been using. We will definitely we using Maalouf Ashford & Talbot again for all of our legal needs throughout the GCC.
