Oxygen, one of the leading fashion chains in the Middle East, was born in the suburbs of Beirut (Lebanon) in 1984. Eight years later, in 1992, Oxygen inaugurated its first large store in Beirut beginning its expansion throughout Lebanon, a hub of trends in the Middle East, and in other potential markets such as Saudi Arabia, Syria and the United Arab Emirates. Today, Oxygene has more than 40 stores in the Middle East and Europe, with a business increase of more than 60% in the last decade. Its expansion plans include the opening in the next three years of stores in the main European capitals, showing its interest in the European market as a strength of its international positioning strategy.
