The park is bounded by Sheikh Rashid Road to the north, the Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Road to the northwest, while the Sheikh Zayed Road cuts through the south.The park is divided into numerous sectors connected by pedestrian bridges, and there are multiple entrance gates. Aquaventure is one of Dubai's most thrilling waterparks. In 2013 it got even better when it opened four more thrilling slides – each wrapped around the new Tower of Poseidon pyramid – and the Middle Easts longest zip line circuit. However, you can still dive into old favourites like the Leap of Faith, a 27.5-metre plunge that carries you through a clear tube surrounded by sharks and rays. Although children need to be taller than 1.2 metres to enjoy many of the parks slides, little ones will delight in the Splashers Children's Play Area – a maze of kid-friendly tunnels, tubes, slides and climbing frames.

For those who like running, the jogging track is 2 kilometres in length and 3 metres wide, with a few laps providing the perfect workout. When the weather is good and you're looking for somewhere to play sport, head over to Al Nahda Pond Park. Here you can play tennis, basketball and volleyball. There's a soccer field too, where your little ones can run around and let off some steam. If you like to run, the park also boasts a jogging track. The large pond is also worth a look, as it covers more than half of the park.
